Amsterdam High School, Town of Amsterdam NY. Street X was able to communicate with school administration, local town and county legislators and county Sheriff department to make these important changes.
A new painted crosswalk was installed, four new solar powered flashing street signs , and the speed limit was changed from 30 mph to 20 mph school zone area.
To make this possible Street X used photographs of Students crossing the street, phone calls to all authorities mentioned, and a speaking video of Street X founder, Everett Flint, explaining the dangerous traffic situation, posted to Facebook to receive immediate support and attention from local community.

Thank you to everyone that made this project possible.
