💚 Hosted by the Tangipahoa 4-H Livestock Ambassadors, this clinic will cover everything you need to know about poultry and rabbit showmanship. Bring your animals to participate in hands-on learning and improve your skills!

Don’t forget to make sure your chickens and rabbits are warm and snug for the next few days! Birds with large combs in particular should be kept above freezing temps because of the possibility of frostbite to their combs. Put loads of hay in rabbit cages (or bring them inside if they don’t have warm coats) so they can burrow down and stay warm. And remember they all need to be protected from the wind! 🐓🐇🍀

Greetings, Tangi poultry and rabbit enthusiasts! I know it's been a while since we posted here, but we'd like to start this page up again to keep you all in the loop. The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair rabbit and poultry show is coming up on Saturday, October 26. It's a really fun, laid-back show. It's one we always look forward to! Registrations can be turned in on the day of the show, but they appreciate pre-registration. There is NO FEE for this show and it's a great time to get some practice in before our 4-H shows start in the Spring. We'll be there and happy to help in any way we can.
