We have been blessed of late to have lots of visitors at Vespers on Thursdays. Happy to have you. Answers to common questions:

Do I have to bring something for potluck after? Nope.

You have catechism class after Vespers. Can I sit in? Of course.

Can I go to confession afterwards? As long as your spiritual father allows it, yes.

I’ve never been to an Orthodox service before. Do I have to do anything special? Not really. And we have books i the narthex for you to follow along with if you’d like.

Are tapas really a joy to share with people when at a restaurant? No. It’s a form of gastronomic socialism.

Some of you people didn’t come get your fruit blessed on Thursday …

… you can bring your fruit to be blessed Sunday, but the pastoral tax (i.e. father eats some of your fruit) will be necessarily higher.
