Save the date for Sunday September 27th! See you at Apex Orchards in Shelburne.

MSP, PSU, AFSFME, and GEO gathered in solidarity with our USA siblings to fight the administration's use of Kronos, a time and location tracking software, which USA members roundly rejected at the bargaining table last year. Surveillance software harms our workplace, creating an unnecessary burden on workers and siphoning taxpayer money into undeserving private companies.

USA members demand respect of their contract, and MSP is proud to amplify that message (even when the admin tells us to put the bullhorn away)!

PSU will always stand for the working people who make our society possible in the face of adversity. , "a union of over 4,000 nurses and clinicians, going on strike is a profound demonstration of solidarity and means an entire workforce is speaking as one: we are ready to fight for what's best for our members and patients. We call on Mass General Brigham to bargain in good faith to reach a fair contract agreement that provides the working conditions these nurses and home care clinicians deserve."

Our communities are facing override battles, cuts to education, and other challenges to public services. We cannot afford another billionaire-backed measure that will force our state government to make more cuts. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what proposed ballot measure “Initiative 25-17” is 🤢

To fight back, River Valley Democratic Socialists of America, in solidarity with Massachusetts Teachers Association and many local unions, is organizing weekly and bi-weekly canvasses in at least four cities and towns across Western Mass. Learn more and sign up to help at the link in our bio! 📝

The impacts of this ballot measure are not intuitive, and we will need as many direct-voter contacts as possible to explain why a no vote is in the best interests of our communities. Let’s show billionaires that we’re and lend our power to this vital movement!

What's that noise? It's the sound of our cost of living adjustments (COLAs) and two full years of retro pay hitting our paychecks today! 🤑💸

While these COLA increases took significantly longer and more effort than they should have, we are proud to have fought alongside you and won a contract that preserved our rights—including job protections and rejecting merit pay, meaning that every single employee got the full COLA they earned. Thanks to your solidarity and strength, we managed to hold the line and finally receive hard-won money that was owed to us by management.

WHEN WE FIGHT, WE WIN!👏
