Hey Amherst 4-H! 🌟

We’re looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming Reality Fair at Amherst County High School on Thursday, April 23rd!

What is the Reality Fair?

It’s a hands-on, interactive simulation where students step into “adult life” and manage a monthly budget based on a chosen career, salary, and debt. They’ll visit different stations—like housing, transportation, food, and utilities—making real-world financial decisions and learning to balance wants vs. needs while avoiding debt.

How can you help?

We need volunteers to run stations and guide students as they make their choices. You’ll be assigned a station (for example, the cell phone station), explain the available options, and help students record their decisions on their budget sheets. It’s simple, fun, and incredibly impactful!

If you’d like to use your skills and experience to help make this a meaningful learning opportunity for our students, please contact me to sign up. We’d love to have you involved! 😊
