Most amputees probably haven’t heard of the Kinn system from Vessl Prosthetics yet. It’s still relatively new, which is exactly why I wanted to ask some of the basic questions first.
So after Sydney Robinson explained what Kinn is and how it automatically adjusts socket fit while you walk, my next question was:
If someone is interested in this, how do they actually get it?
Do you talk to your prosthetist? Can you try the system first? Can Kinn be added to the socket you already have, or does your prosthetist have to build an entirely new socket around it?
Sydney explains the process in this quick clip.
I have several more clips coming from our conversation because I think a lot of amputees are going to be hearing about this technology for the first time.
