🌍 A big THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Amherst, Virginia for their generous gift of a globe to each of our second-graders!
Our students are already excited to explore the world, and these beautiful globes are helping them expand their horizons—literally! Your support makes a lasting difference in their learning journey.

Amherst Rotary Club at the Garlic Festival.

The Amherst Rotary Club has been working hard this weekend volunteering at The Garlic Festival at Rebec Vineyards.

It takes around 250 volunteers over the 2 days to run everything from wine pouring, parking, gate check in, and handling the information booth for thousands of visitors. “This is a huge undertaking for our club and Leigh Pigg has been our quarterback to pull this off,” said Amherst volunteer Tom Illingworth. “Talk about Service Above Self, rounding up all these volunteers.”

Some of the funds raised from this event goes toward world globes for Amherst County’s 2nd graders and some funds are for youth scholarships.
