I feel so grateful to do Charity Week for LLS Light The Night at The Cheesy Chick Cafe. They promoted my new sandwich. The Penny Man Deluxe on Texas Toast w/ Chicken, Bacon, Mac & cheese, American cheese, & Special Cheesy Chick Sauce. Thank you to the owner Simone for your contribution to my fundraiser.

A special shoutout to The Town of Amherst for their commendation, recognizing me for my cause. Stay tuned for an upcoming article in the Amherst Bee Newspaper this Thursday!

And finally we completed this year’s 2025 Penny Man Rolling Party! Thank you family & friends for coming. We rolled Pennie’s while enjoying snacks & treats😄. It was a fun day.

My name is Jonathan Roesser, but I like to be called "The Penny Man"! I have been collecting pennies for over 15 years and then donating them to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I first started collecting in High School, year 2007, when a classmate of mine passed away from Leukemia. My teacher, Mrs. Jean Cassetta, started a school-wide campaign in partnership with the L&L Society in memory of our friend Andrew, and I never stopped saving pennies since.

When people ask me why I collect pennie,s I tell them that I remember when my friend Andrew died and that I hope my pennies will help find a cure so no one else will get sick from this cancer... "one penny at a time."

I am announcing something very special. My grand donation total from 2011 to 2024. It is now at $20,362.00. Please be excited about this and share this news with everyone. I am so happy and grateful for everyone's support all these years!
