During Trunk or Treat on October 17th, we are hosting a Food Drive for the Sweet Home Education Foundation, Inc. SHEF is a nonprofit organization of which I am a board member.

SHEF fills gaps in the Sweet Home School District through a variety of programs, including our SHEF Cares Food Outreach Program. This particular program delivers food to families in our school district who suffer from food insecurity.

Please consider donating non-perishable, non-expired items at Trunk or Treat. If you aren't attending Trunk or Treat and would still like to donate, message me, and I can coordinate a drop-off for you at my house.

For more information on SHEF, visit www.sweethomefoundation.org

This past weekend and over the coming weeks, you will have this flyer delivered to your home by some neighborhood volunteers.

We are only a little over a month away from our biggest event of the year Trunk or Treat. Please consider coming and decorating a vehicle to make it our best one yet.

You can register here: https://forms.gle/DeoLtrvo6aV4dN9GA

We are also hosting a food drive for the Sweet Home Education Foundation, Inc. during Trunk or Treat. Please consider a donation.

Also, if you haven't paid your 2026 dues, now through October is the time to do so. This covers you through next October. Remember, without our dues collection...we can't put on our events.

I know some of you are new to the neighborhood, so if you have questions about anything, message us or email [email protected]

Thank you to Coach Koziol, members of the Sweet Home Golf team and The Martin Family today for volunteering in the SHEF Food Pantry!

They unloaded food, checked expiration dates and shelved all food items. We appreciate the assistance in the pantry!
