I would like to apologize for the recent activity that included the changing of information and pictures on our page. We recently had a brothers page hacked and because he was an admin on the page they were able to get in and change things up. The officers and brethren of Blue Steel Lodge would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that attended and made our Table Lodge a success! Our guest speaker Gregory Kita as Benjamin Franklin was truly remarkable! The chicken dinner prepared by the ladies from Stone City chapter of the Eastern Stars truly brought back childhood memories as quoted by a few Brothers. Last but not least, the evening was filled with great conversation and more than a few laughs! I regret to say there were no pictures that I am aware of, but is that a bad thing? In a world where the technology is in the palm of our hands, being present in the moment is almost forgotten, all the Brethren were definitely present last night! Again, Thank you all who attended!

On Friday April 28th at 6:30pm our lodge will be hosting a Table Lodge. If you are a Freemason and might be interested in attending please feel free to message us or Ed Adams. The price is $20 which includes your meal. Our guest speaker will be RWB Greg Kita doing a presentation on Benjamin Franklin. Come join us for an entertaining evening filled with fellowship and enlightenment! There are limited seats and we have about 7 left, so get your seat while you can!

Brethren, is there a man in your life interested in joining Ohio Freemasonry? On April 22nd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm we’ll be opening the doors of the Amherst Masonic Temple to Ohio men and their families to discover the impact our fraternity has on the state and local community; invite them to learn about what makes Ohio Freemasonry special. During this Open House we will welcome men into our Lodge and help them gain a better understanding of what being an Ohio Freemason means. They’ll be able to ask questions, explore the Lodge, and get to know they’re future brethren. There will be Brethren from Blue Steel Lodge #791, Stonington Lodge #503, and Oberlin Lodge #380 to welcome and answer any questions people may have. We hope to see you all there!

We would like to say thank you to every Brother that attended our inspection today! We had an amazing turn out and because of this, we were able to confer an amazing MM degree to a young Master Mason! We saw the reflection in the Grand Masters theme of building brotherhood within the Lodge today! Thank you to all the District Officers and Brothers from visiting Lodges that truly made today even more special for our newly raised Brother! From the WM and officers of Blue Steel thank you again! Safe travels and we hope you will join us again in the future for a regularly scheduled meeting!

At our last stated meeting we had the privilege of being joined by the Pebbles group. This young Masonic group decorated the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Amherst Masonic Temple and then this past Monday continued our holiday celebrations with us by singing Christmas carols! They did an incredible job of bringing holiday joy to everyone in attendance! From the leadership to the youngest member they were amazing!
