You may have heard that Holy Guacamole was in a wreck in WV the other day. They're home now, so continue to to keep them in your thoughts and prayers! In spite of all of this, they do plan on being at Coonskin Friday this Friday! So come on out and show Evelyn, Rudy, and the kids how glad we are that they're ok!

Need Pumpkins. Does anyone have a few pumpkins they could donate to the 9th Coonskin Friday, October 16? Any size, shape or quantity helps. Coonskin Friday operates with only your donations, and volunteer work. Funds raised go to pay our entertainers, and cover some operating expenses. Thanks for your support!

Our Coonskin Friday, 5K fundraiser for the Back Pack initiative, of Amesville Elementary was wonderful. We had 21 participants in the 5K. Hocking Valley Hog Wranglers opened, followed by our special guest, Eddie Brill, then Skywater took the stage! We had awesome food from our favorite vendor, Holy Guacamole, and folks enjoyed the cider press before the 5K. Thanks to everyone for coming out to support a special cause: feeding our kids and families in need!

The post wrote a great article on Eddie Brill's performance at Donkey Coffee last night, and tonight he'll be with us in Amesville at our Coonskin Friday fundraiser for the Back Pack Initiative of Amesville Elementary. It's not to late to get in on the 5K, you can register at the event. Holy Holy Guacamole would like folks to use cash tonight. They've had problems with their credit card machine. Former David Letterman warmup comedian Eddie Brill stopped in Athens to entertain a cozy crowd in the backroom of Donkey Coffee and Espresso Thursday night. The Post sat down with Brill after the show to chat about his visit.
