Amesbury Improvement Association The Amesbury Improvement Association is an all-volunteer organization focused on preserving, enhancing, and promoting the many wonders of the city.

The Amesbury Improvement Association has a record of over 150 years of service to the people of Amesbury—120 years under its present name—and is the oldest civic organization in Amesbury. The AIA seeks to enhance the natural beauty of Amesbury, preserve its history and make it a more attractive place to live and work.

Join the AIA in planting a Liberty Tree at the Macy-Colby house at 257 Main Street this Saturday May 16th at 10am. Mayor will give a proclamation and come find out more about the Liberty Tree of Boston. The committee is offering some free small trees in containers which will be available to pick up on Saturday. request one by emailing: [email protected]
