We’re super excited to kickoff a new drive to support students at Charles C. Cashman Elementary School by collecting new and gently used playground toys!

Have a football collecting dust in your garage? Want to pick up some sidewalk chalk next time you’re at the store? Either new or gently used, we’d love to take the listed items off your hands and get them into the hands of our students during their playground time. Have other items you think might be useful, please reach out.

Donations can be brought to the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce, Aluxety or Children's Orchard Amesbury, MA.

Thank you for helping us bring more fun to our local students recess time!

What a fantastic morning yesterday at Lake Gardner for our third annual Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby! We loved spending the morning with so many wonderful local families who came out to cast a line.

A huge congratulations to all the winners! We awarded trophies for the biggest fish and the most interesting catch.

A special thank you to Coastal Connections Inc. for generously donating bait, and to For The Party Co. for the awesome fish balloons. We appreciate your support.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us. We're already looking forward to next year's derby!

Big smiles at Cashman Elementary School this morning! A few of our club members were thrilled to stop by the school this morning to drop off a haul of new playground gear, including jump ropes, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, assorted sports balls… and even more items will be arriving later this week!

Recently, Kiwanis member Kyle and his daughter noticed that recess equipment at CES could use a little extra support to keep the kids active and engaged. Thanks to Kyle and Emily for speaking up! Their observation reminds us all that being mindful of our community’s needs can make a big difference.

A huge thank you to Principal Mitchell and Mrs. Ripley’s class for helping us get it unloaded and organized in the brand-new storage shed that Mrs. Hoyt and Mrs. Woodbury recently secured through grant funding, it’s the perfect home for these new supplies. We look forward to continuing this momentum by starting an annual drive for items to support our local students during their recess time. Stay tuned for more details!
