Story County Reads Story County Reads (with SCCAN) is an educational collaboration, convened by United Way.

We work collectively in the areas of parent education, kindergarten readiness, out-of-school and in-school supports, postsecondary exploration, health & attendance. Story County Reads is a collaborative initiative that brings together multiple sectors for the common goal of ensuring all children and youth in Story County can read at or above grade level.
