Iowa State Network Against Human Trafficking Recognized student organization which recognizes, and wishes to raise awareness on, the issue of human trafficking as a manifestation of modern day slavery.

Iowa Code defines human trafficking as participating in a venture to recruit, harbor, transport or obtain a person for commercial sexual activity through the use of force, fraud, or coercion, except that if the trafficked person is under the age of eighteen, the commercial sexual activity need not involve force, fraud, or coercion.
