Northcrest Community is a unique senior living community that's more than just a "place to live!"

As a Life-Care community, we are able to meet all of your needs - from spacious independent living townhomes and apartments to Assisted Living apartments to a 24-bed licensed Health Care Center. Our award-winning Heartwood House is a special home for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Northcrest residents recently participated with the Kiwanis Club of Ames in creating a piece of Ames history by painting a four-inch tile.
Each tile is unique because hundreds of different Ames community members painted them. Most people will first see a colorful tree; however, upon closer inspection, they will find all the different tiles that the community members painted.

Thanks to all who came out to support Team Heartwood House and the Walk to End Alzheimer's. It is so touching to see flowers in the air denoting those living with Alzheimer's, caregivers, supporters, and those who have lost a loved one through this journey. We walk to find a cure!

Health Services had a great time hosting our annual Skills Fair!

Our Health Center residents enjoyed a special Oktoberfest evening featuring live music, dinner, and a happy hour. The event was definitely a success, and we were fortunate to have such beautiful sunshine.
