Steenhoek Environmental produces humus compost, regular compost, and rain garden soil mix, and grows native and non-native ornamental grasses near Ames. Many of our competitors create compost as an answer to a waste management problem, but our goal is to create the best compost possible. This results in no excess garbage and no excess salts, just great compost.
