What a great turn out for the Mobile Education Exhibit today despite the rain! Thank you all for coming, thanks to our great American Legion Riders members for help with set up and greeting people, but mostly Thank you to our Veterans. Getting to be a part of Welcoming Home Vietnam Veterans was something I’ll never forget. We hosted over 130 people and normal is 30-60 unless it is a part of another event such as a county fair or something. Our community stepped up! If you missed this exhibit, they’ll have one more stop in Iowa this year in Mason City for the 4th of July!

Join us for the Wreaths Across America’s Mobile Education Exhibit! July 2 between 1-7 pm! There will be a food truck or two…Hotel rooms are available at a discounted rate… I believe they are $80/night.

Many thanks to our volunteers who braved the cold and helped with Wreath Retrieval today. The temps were in the teens but the sun was shining and my heart is so warm!
