Cultivating a Little Cowboy’s Dream
From Archer’s mom:
What a blessing it was to be able our son on a horse for the first time today!

I just wanted to write something for Cultivating Hope Farms to know how grateful we are for the ability to celebrate Archer’s 2nd birthday with Tank! We have known that Archer really enjoys horses from how much he rocks on his rocking horse at home! But as many times as we have attempted to make it to the CHF events, we just realized we did not have the time nor the capacity to really bring him and all his equipment along with our two older kids with us. Because we knew a family that volunteers so much with CHF(Handsackers) and because we have known the owners for quite some time as well, we were able to get a private horse ride for Archer’s special day! We know that because of his long hospitalization, this would be a lot for him, but he made it for a little more than five minutes and we were thrilled he enjoyed it so much! This would’ve never been possible without a wonderful help of CHF volunteers and Owners! We just take it one day at a time and today was a very special day for us! Our older kids talked about it all the way home!

Please consider donating so the farm can build a much needed horse barn to cultivate more little cowboy and cowgirl dreams. This will also give our AMAZING hardworking equine helpers a place out of Iowa’s extreme elements.
