We have a few beautiful items left from this year’s greenhouse sale, so we are opening a small online silent auction!

Several of these pieces were designed and planted by students, including custom-built planters from our Wood Structures class and a one-of-a-kind antique green chest planter.

Items available for bidding:

* 3 patio planters (auctioned individually)
* 1 hanging basket
* 2 large square wooden planters (made by wood shop students)
* 1 custom antique green chest planter

How to bid:

2. Comment your bid directly on the photo of the item you want.

The Floriculture CDE team delivered an outstanding performance on Wednesday’s district competition, sweeping the event and earning the district title.

Individually, Melanie Medina was named District Champion. Abbi Vivian placed 2nd, Naomi Rivas placed 3rd, and Shaylee Taylor placed 4th. The contest included 52 competitors from 12 schools, making this a very competitive field.

The team has one more month before competing in the state event in Twin Falls during the State Leadership Convention. Good luck and congratulations!!

The American Falls Floriculture Team has been busy this week, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
