Our Relay Family has lost a kind and loving soul today. To all that knew Jerry, you know that his heart was large and his spirit was larger. We cannot put his impact into words, and we can only say that Heaven got a beloved person. Cancer may have took his body, but his spirit and love is in each person he had graced with his time and presence. Our prayers and love are with JerVic Corpus and the rest of the Ohana For Life family during this time.

In the month of October, for breast cancer awareness month, American Canyon ATA Martial Arts will be honoring breast cancer survivors, fighters and angels. A special class will be held toward the end of October (date TBA) and would love to have you there! Pink belts are $20 and this money goes toward moms fighting breast cancer.

Children between the ages of 3-18 can be empowered to nominate their mom for a special cash grant to show their love for their mom that has been affected by breast cancer. Sometimes children feel so helpless and this is one way to empower them so they can make a difference! If interested comment below and we will get you the info!

The Lions Club with be hosting a yummy breakfast for $5!

Good Morning Relayers,

My name is Vincent Lin and I have been the event lead for the American Canyon Relay For Life for the past 2 years. I am writing this message to discuss the status of the 2018 Relay For Life. As some of you may have found out, the American Canyon Relay For Life is merging with the Napa Relay For Life to form the Relay For Life of Napa Valley.

I want to take some time to make some facts known. This is not an isolated decision. Nationwide, the American Cancer society are consolidating relays by approximately 40%. Ultimately, due to the proximity of both of our relays we were selected. Also, the decision had been made to shut down the Napa American Cancer Society office. This rearrangement has moved our event office to Santa Rosa. Also, it leads to a new Staff Partner.

Remember, the American Cancer Society's Efforts are to best maximize the use of the dollars that we raise in order to end this horrible disease, and ultimately the decisions made are to maximize the amount of money that goes to providing cancer services and to researching a cure. In this new relay format, I have decided to stick on as Co-lead and work closely with Jaymie Kilgore as the other co-lead. We would like to invite you if you want to join our ELT to a committee meeting at the old Napa office location, this Tuesday night at 6:30 at 860 Napa Valley Corporate Way, Napa CA

I would like to thank each and single one of you for every effort that you made to fight cancer and defeat this horrible disease. I will ask that your resolve remains steadfast and that we together can finish the fight.

First off, we would like to with a big thank you to all members of the military for their selfless service and bravery.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it's time to show support. 30% of women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime, and 2500 men in 2017 will be diagnosed with this disease. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like to welcome all to post a picture of yourself, with your coworkers, friends and family on our page in pink and tag in your picture.
