We were so thrilled to be able to support the Hearing Speech + Deaf Center at their recent 5th Annual Laura and Richard Kretschmer Service Award Gala honoring Donna Mayerson, PhD. They also recognized Barbara Bailey with their shining Star Award during the event that was held at The Bell Event Centre: https://hearingspeechdeaf.org/gala/.

Established in 2017, The Laura and Richard Kretschmer Service Award recognizes individuals demonstrating excellence in volunteerism. Drs. A huge thank you to our friends at American Homeland Title Community Foundation for all their support of !

Yesterday we were able to present Katie's mom with a check for $940 as a result of April closings at American Homeland Title Agency, Inc. It's always incredible when we get to chat with those involved in starting such amazing organizations, this one was no exception.

Katie was tragically killed by a drunk driver at the age of 27 by a drunk driver, with her young daughter Emma in the car. Her family created the Foundation in her name. The Katie Haumesser Foundation is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Katie’s life, by providing assistance to children with special needs, and sponsoring scholarships for graduate students in speech and language pathology.
