Western wildlife folks, listen up and those around the country…this is a great opportunity!!!
NWCOA’s Western Training Event is back June 19–20th, 2026 near Jackson Hole + the Grand Tetons. Sponsored by WCS and HY-C.
We’ve got two days of hands-on training you’ll actually use in the field:
Friday June 19th: Structural Bat Management (Bat2)
This is the full-day certification. Metal bending, ridge/vent/chimney exclusion work, ladder & scaffolding safety, decontamination, guano contracts, pricing, everything.
Heads up: You must finish the online portion before June 19th — that link drops June 1st.
Then you’ll take the online portion of Bat 2 and then attend the hands on portion.
Pass the test and you walk out a NWCOA Certified Structural Bat Management Professional.
Don’t forget this is the prerequisite… https://nwcoa.thinkific.com/
Saturday June 20th: Water Trapping
Full day focused on beaver, muskrat, and other water-based work. Sets, equipment, safety, regulations, dealing with dams/flooding, non-targets, the stuff that’s hard to learn from a video.
If you’re on the fence about adding water work to your business, this is the day to get your questions answered.
Why make the trip?
1. Real hands-on reps, not just PowerPoints.
2. It’s Wyoming in June. Train all day, hit the Tetons after.
8am-6pm both days. These hands-on courses will probably only be done once this year!!!
