🏍️ Just 2 Days Until the 9th Annual Virginia Legacy Run! 🇺🇸

In just two days, hundreds of American Legion Riders from across Virginia will hit the road for the 9th Annual Virginia Legacy Run, a multi-day ride benefiting the American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation.

Funds raised support:

❤️ Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) for military and veteran families with children facing unexpected hardships.

🇺🇸 Service Officer Training for accredited claims experts who help veterans and their families secure the benefits they have earned free of charge.

🎨 Special Raffle Item! This beautiful hand-painted Virginia Legacy Run artwork, created by Cherry Lee, will be raffled off during the lunch stop at Stonewall Harley-Davidson. Don't miss your chance to take home this one-of-a-kind piece while supporting a great cause!

Today we celebrate the enduring symbol of our nation's freedom, unity, and resilience. Let us remember the sacrifices made by generations of Americans who have defended the liberties our flag represents.

🗽Liberty Gals U.S.A. – Week 2 of the Countdown to America’s 250th Birthday! 🗽

As we continue our exciting countdown to America's 250th Birthday on July 4, 2026, the Liberty Gals U.S.A. are reflecting on some of the incredible places we've visited that help keep our nation's history alive.

One of our favorite stops was the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Opened in 2008, the museum has grown into one of the world's largest collections of flying World War I and World War II military aircraft, preserving the stories of the men and women who built, flew, and maintained these historic warbirds. The museum's mission is to honor those heroes while educating and inspiring future generations through living history.

What truly made our visit special was meeting the dedicated volunteers, docents, restoration teams, and tour guides who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Volunteers help welcome guests, lead guided tours, support educational programs, assist with aircraft operations, and share their passion for aviation history with visitors from around the world. Their commitment is the backbone of the museum experience.

The museum's knowledgeable docents lead tours through historic hangars and exhibits, bringing each aircraft's story to life and helping visitors connect with the courage, sacrifice, innovation, and determination that shaped our nation.

As we celebrate Week 2 of our journey toward America's Semiquincentennial, we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Military Aviation Museum who preserves these priceless pieces of history and ensures that future generations can experience them firsthand.

Only a few more weeks until America celebrates 250 years of freedom, service, innovation, and patriotism! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 D-DAY REMEMBRANCE – JUNE 6, 1944 🇺🇸

Today, Liberty Gals U.S.A. proudly honors the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

D-Day marked the beginning of the Allied liberation of Europe during World War II. More than 150,000 Allied troops crossed the English Channel and faced unimaginable danger in the fight against tyranny. Thousands made the ultimate sacrifice so that future generations could live in freedom.

As we remember those heroes, we pause to reflect on their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to liberty. Their actions changed the course of history and serve as a lasting reminder that freedom is never free.

We honor the fallen, salute the veterans who survived, and express our deepest gratitude to all who served.

This Friday, Liberty Gals U.S.A. proudly begins our countdown to America's 250th Birthday on July 4, 2026! We will be celebrating by sharing some of our favorite patriotic-themed photos every Friday!

For 250 years, the spirit of freedom, courage, and patriotism has united generations of Americans. Throughout this month, we'll honor the values that make our nation strong and remember the brave men and women who have defended our liberty.
During World War II, pin-up art became a unique expression of patriotism. Images of smiling, confident women boosted morale for American troops serving overseas and reminded them of the home and freedoms they were fighting to protect. These iconic images became symbols of hope, strength, and American pride.

Liberty Gals U.S.A. was created to honor that legacy. Through vintage fashion, pin-up culture, and a love of country, we celebrate the women who inspired a generation and the military heroes who served with courage and sacrifice. As we look ahead to America's 250th birthday, we proudly remember the past while carrying forward the spirit of patriotism that has defined our nation for centuries.
