Roxy did great with her surgery! They removed the huge lipoma and all of her blood work was great. She was picked up from her big day by her favorite person and is now home resting. Thank you all for making this possible for our old girl!

We are so thankful to all who donated or shared our fundraising efforts for Roxy’s surgery. It is scheduled for February 12 and her favorite guy is going to help get her to and from the big vet visit. We’ve got enough funds now even if it ends up being on the high end of the estimate. THANK YOU ALL!!!

We try not to ask for money very often but we’d like to have this giant non-cancerous mass removed from Roxy if possible. It’s been tested and the vet can do the surgery, we just need help with the cost. We think it would help this sweet girl breathe better and just be more comfortable in general. Any help is sincerely appreciated!!!

Hey folks! Looking for strong recommendations for a pet sitter for three well trained, well behaved, very loved dogs of a friend who lives in the Camas area. Would want someone to stay in their home when they travel a couple/ few times a year. Thanks for any suggestions any of you may have.

All of our dogs from Mexico have been intelligent, well socialized and all have had unique personalities. She was no exception. I’ll miss you, my shadow girl. Go find all of your brothers and sisters. I hope we meet again someday.

Our old girl isn’t feeling well. Got her in to the vet, Woodland Veterinary Hospital for some blood work. Hoping to rule out some of the more grim possibilities. She’s not eating much and just seems to feel terrible. Keep a good thought for Mar.

Animal rescue is a constant rollercoaster of emotions. I was walking the dogs in the rain this morning when Roxy, Jonah and Lina all got the zooms at once and started chasing each other and playing with complete joy. It was a beautiful moment. Seconds later, Roxy flopped down and had a seizure. Oh and Raffa is not eating so the large animal vet will be coming tomorrow. Up and down we go.
