Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month?

Spring is a stressful time for the agriculture community in Lee County. It's important to take a moment to reflect on 'What's in your toolbox?' Having reliable, healthy outlets to work through stress is crucial for better health and well-being. Farmers are 3.5 times more likely to die from su***de than the general population. There is no doubt that farmers face more uncertainty in making a living than any other profession.

Lee County Farm Bureau and Illinois Farm Bureau are dedicated to providing the resources essential to better living and means for agricultural life, even on the toughest of topics... mental health. Check out all the resources available here: https://www.ilfb.org/resources/farmer-rural-resources/mental-health-wellness/
