Blue Cut Trailblazers Notice to all members

We had a serious discussion with the attending members at our April meeting on how to move forward with the future of our Club. Below are the results:
1) The Blue Cut Trailblazers will be place into inactive status, effective 4/2/2026, due to current low levels of membership involvement. This status shall remain in effect until such a time as a sufficient number of members commit to active participation, at which point a motion to reactive may be brought before the group.
2) We will make a donation of $4,500.00 to Camp Courageous in Monticello Iowa as per the written by-laws of the Blue Cut Trailblazers. Leave the remaining $352.31 in a savings account for future use.
3) All remaining apparel can be purchased at Recreational Motorsports in Anamosa at a discounted pricing. T-Shirts $7 and Sweat Shirts $10.
FAQ
1) By placing the club on inactive status, it will still keep the club listed with the State of Iowa.
2) The money left in savings will allow the club to restart with some funds in the bank.
3) Blue Cut discounts will no longer be honored at local businesses.
4) Our page will still be active to inform members of upcoming events around the area. Bobby Krum the founder of Blue Cut.

For anyone interested, members of Blue Cut Trailblazers are going to take a ride down to Amana tomorrow (Sunday Nov 2,2025). We will meet at Recreational Motor Sports in Anamosa by 8:00am. You can trailer in and park if necessary. We plan on having lunch there and walking around the shops. Of course you will probably get a bit muddy on some of the level B roads. Come out for our ride.

A big shout out to the following members of Blue Cut Trailblazers! Tiffany & Larry McConaughy, Eileen Marsh, Roger Sams, Barney Dirks, Joel Loeffelholz, Ruth Hubbard, Terry & Denise Carpenter, Troy Heath! This group was amazing lining up the Anamosa Pumpkinfest parade participants. From registration to properly organizing the lineup. Everyone willing to pitch in and move around when needed and dedicated hours on a very hot day to ensure the annual parade went off smoothly. Thank you so much for your support to Blue Cut Trailblazers and the Anamosa Pumpkinfest. 🎃

****Reminder***. The next Bluecut Trailblazers meeting is tonight Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Wapsi Country Club. We will start at 7 PM. This is the final meeting for the season and the meeting to coordinate the pumpkin fest parade. Blue Cut apparel will also be available for purchase at a discounted price. Starting Monday, October 6, 2025 Blue Cut apparel can be picked up and paid for at recreational motorsports in Anamosa.
