Period Project collects, purchases, and distributes feminine hygiene products to young ladies within our schools of the community. One in four girls will miss one or more school days a month because they lack access to period products. This is your opportunity to help change that!

Currently, the Junior League of Amarillo Period Project serves 2 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, and 6 high schools all within Region 16, all including schools within 3 different districts.

Our goal is to expand to other schools in surrounding areas with similar needs. With your support and generosity, we can not only continue our mission to support these young ladies and school communities, but we can also ensure that we are setting them up for success.

We deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity towards the young women of our community! ❤️

We’ve officially kicked off another amazing year of JLA! 🎉 Our September General Membership Meeting was nothing but an exciting and motivating start to the beginning of all of the possibilities this year will hold!

Getting to hear an inspirational message from guest speaker, Glenda Moore, with Kind House Ukraine Bakery and enjoying delicious food from Chick-fil-a on Coulter were the cherries on top of an already amazing night and we are so grateful for each of their contributions to our organization!

We would also like to send a huge thank you to Kendra Scott Amarillo for joining us and setting up a small pop-up to help raise more funds and excitement for this year’s Find the Good Day fundraiser! We truly appreciate your dedication to our community efforts! 💛
