Topeka Treasure Hunters Open National Hunt - May 17, 2026

📣 2026 Open National Hunt – Early Heads Up! 🪙⛏️

We’re excited to share an early preview of our 2026 Open National Hunt! The Hunt Entry Flyer and directions will be emailed again closer to the event, but we wanted to get this on your radar now.

⚠️ Important Updates for 2026
Due to major increases in gold and silver prices (gold up 77%, silver up 214%), some changes were necessary this year to keep hunts fair and fun:

🔹 Four Hunt Events Total
• Two morning hunts
• Two afternoon hunts
• Lady’s Hunt will not be offered this year

🔹 New & Updated Hunts
• Quarter Hunt (NEW): Replaces the Half Hunt — 90% silver quarters, 10% clad
• Gold Hunt: Uses ½-gram gold bars as prizes (tokens are painted $1 coins)
• Dollar Hunt: Minimum of one silver dollar per 3 entries
• Main Hunt: Target coins are modern $1 coins with painted/numbered tokens

🔹 Pricing Adjustments
Entry fees for the Main Hunt and satellite hunts have increased to maintain a solid target ratio.

🗓️ Early Entry Deadline Changed
Early Entry is now 4 weeks prior to the Hunt Date due to postal delays — please plan ahead!
