The Texas crew is ready for Day 2 of the Centennial Route 66 Caravan!
Representing Texas and all of Route 66, we hit our goal yesterday and handed out nearly 3,000 stickers promoting Texas businesses and our Route 66 partners from across all eight states.
It's been amazing meeting travelers from around the world and sharing a little piece of the Mother Road with them.
If you see Gary, Stephanie, or Brady anywhere along the caravan route, be sure to stop by and ask for your free stickers !Dont forget to Find Dr Baker in the official Texas car and get His special sticker and post card!

While our Big 66 Festival celebrating 100 years of Route 66 is taking place in the Texas Panhandle, the team from the Big Texan is out on the Mother Road representing Texas with their 72 oz. Steak Challenge Road Show, and Gary and Stephanie handed out nearly 3,000 stickers yesterday promoting Route 66 businesses from every state along the route.
From local celebrations at home to promoting communities across the entire Mother Road, Texas is proud to support Route 66 in a big way. After all, everything is bigger in Texas including the way we promote and celebrate Route 66! 🤠🛣️🇺🇸

Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the historic Harvey House / Casa del Desierto as Barstow welcomes The Big Texan, the Tin Can Tourists, and the Main Street of America Caravan to our community!

The event will feature the world-famous 72 oz. Steak Challenge, where Team Barstow will take the stage! Come watch as the Mayor of Barstow, the Chief of Police, and a U.S. Marine from M.C.L.B. take on the challenge live at the Harvey House.
