Highland Park FFA’s Entomology team placed FIRST in the Lubbock Agristem judging contest today. Additional highlight includes Marshal Neusch tying for high point individual.

These students have been practicing after school since January with our student teacher, Ms. Fangman, to prepare for these contests.

FFA members and families: Please join us for the Highland Park FFA Banquet on May 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Activity Center. These students have worked hard all year and it’s time to celebrate them!

A brisket dinner with sides will be provided.

To order: You will email the name of the item(s) you wish to purchase as well as the quantity to Mrs. Stewart at: [email protected]
She will send instructions on how payment for your order can be made.

Pickup Details: Flowers will be delivered to Mrs. Stewart’s classroom on 4/22/2026.

This past week, Highland Park FFA members competed at the PCJLA Stock Show. Each student poured time, effort, and commitment into their animals, and it showed. The early mornings, long days, and unwavering determination are a true testament to their character and work ethic. We are incredibly proud of all they accomplished and the way they represented Highland Park FFA.

Highland Park FFA has a new Amarillo District Officer. Sonia Hernandez went through the process completing an FFA knowledge test, interview, and giving a speech in front of over 200 district FFA members. Sonia talked about why she would be a good district officer and then replied to a question from the moderator. Sonia will help lead the Amarillo district along with 9 other officers planning district events and helping engage members. Congratulations to Sonia on this huge achievement!!!

Congratulations to Eiza Orrantia Rodriguez for placing in the top 20 of Texas in the Senior Spanish Creed LDE. She has worked very hard over the last 4 months to perfect her pronunciation of the speech and answering 3 questions in Spanish. Highland Park FFA is proud of her accomplishments along this journey and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young lady.

A big CONGRATULATIONS goes to Eiza Orrantia Rodriguez!!!!

She competed at the Area 1 FFA Leadership Development Contest on November 20th. Out of 12 competitors, she was named the Area Champion. Eiza will represent Area 1 FFA at the state contest at Sam Houston State University on December 5th and 6th. We are very proud of her and all the hard work she has put in.
