9 Highland Park FFA members attended State Convention this week in Fort Worth.

While there, Joeli Neusch was awarded the Lonestar Degree which is the highest award that a member of the FFA can achieve at the state level. Help us congratulate Joeli on this incredible achievement!

A huge thank you to the whole group for taking time out of their summer to represent HP FFA at the convention.

Highland Park FFA’s Entomology team placed FIRST in the Lubbock Agristem judging contest today. Additional highlight includes Marshal Neusch tying for high point individual.

These students have been practicing after school since January with our student teacher, Ms. Fangman, to prepare for these contests.

Congratulations to all of our judging kids that participated this week!

FFA members and families: Please join us for the Highland Park FFA Banquet on May 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Activity Center. These students have worked hard all year and it’s time to celebrate them!

A brisket dinner with sides will be provided.

She will send instructions on how payment for your order can be made.

Pickup Details: Flowers will be delivered to Mrs. Stewart’s classroom on 4/22/2026.

This past week, Highland Park FFA members competed at the PCJLA Stock Show. Each student poured time, effort, and commitment into their animals, and it showed. The early mornings, long days, and unwavering determination are a true testament to their character and work ethic. We are incredibly proud of all they accomplished and the way they represented Highland Park FFA.

Here is the schedule for next weeks county show. We are currently setting up times to clip sheep and goats. If you need assistance, please contact Mr. Stewart.

Also, you will need to bring a bag of shavings per sheep/goat to the farm no later than Thursday morning.
