South Georgia Elementary PTA PTA is a volunteer organization striving to support the students, teachers, and staff of South Georgia Elementary.

South Georgia Elementary PTA is committed to promoting the welfare of South Georgia Elementary Students and providing the best possible learning environment for them by partnering with the faculty and staff of South Georgia Elementary School. Parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends help achieve our goals by organizing and executing:

* Fall Festival and Spring Fling - Events encouraging fun

and fellowship in the South Georgia community.

*Educational Opportunities - Field trips, guest speakers and performers, UIL, Greater Southwest, Battle of the Books, and Egg Drop competitions, and the annual 5th grade outdoor ed trip.

*Celebrations and Milestones - 5th grade end of year party, birthday recognition, Kindergarten graduation, and STAAR breakfast and goodie bags

*Health and Welfare Activities - Walk for Education, MayFest, and Track Meet

*Programs - including Book of the Month Club, Copy Club, and student performances

*Fundraisers - To provide funds for achieving PTA's goals

The South Georgia pta has their SnowGo gift shop open! We are open in the mornings before school and after school until the 13th! Families, your kids were sent home with an envelope for you to decide how much your child can spend! We will be there to assist them! We can’t wait to see them!
