This was a much anticipated one. We see the work of Shanda Fletcher Artist all over town through B L A N K ▫️ S P A C E S but we couldn’t wait to see what her solo panel would look like. It didn’t disappoint! We love the neon vibes Shanda.

Not only does HOODOO rely on Rise Up Art co to get our muralists the paint they need, we know we can also rely on co-owner RaeLa Ornelas to paint a fantastic wall. Raela has recently been traveling around to mural festivals around the state and we were happy she decided to stay local for HOODOO. Her homage to Dia de Los Mu***os looks great on the front of Arts in the Sunset

Egypt Hagan blew us away at the speed with which she painted this wall. Her “visual alphabet of geometric glyphs” brighten up the background of the piece, and we love her reimagined “cowboy” as it relates to modern-day West Texas.

Thanks for sharing this beauty at Arts in the Sunset Egypt

WHAT A DAY we had last weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to HOODOO, to the phenomenal bands and muralists, to all of the vendors, food trucks, and volunteers. We are still dreaming about all of the fun we had celebrating the arts.
