Letters from the Heart

Letters from the Heart Providing support and hope to Military and Families Originally it started as a blog and grew. My heart of the wife for Wounded Warrior.

We created Letters from the Heart to bring awareness to Amarillo and the surrounding communities about Veteran and Veteran Caregiver Issues. Original Message:
Dear Friends and Followers,

This is letters from my heart. I have wanted for a long time wanted to find a way to show others how I feel and also give a little insight to our life. A suggestion to find a way to do Self care has lead me dow

n this road. I am here for all caregivers of Wounded Warriors but also for the community who often do not know how to respond to these Soldiers or their families. We really do live a different life. We are a different type of person. I hope that you enjoy this. I plan to write a few types of letters here are what they are:

Letters to my Husband - With his permission and support. Letters to my community - which really could be the whole country. Letters to My children - and really all children of Wounded Warriors. Letters to Myself - This letter will be true raw feelings I have. This also will be the hardest for me to right. Letters to Organizations and Resources (most likely thank you letters telling what they have done or do. This does not necessary mean they have helped us but they may have helped a friend of ours. )
Letter to Public officials - These will be the most professional and formal. Letters to just what every I feel like writing to. If you have suggestions then I will sure try. We are not a Non-Profit at this time. We may at a later time decide to become a non-profit but for now we are just a group of people trying to help other military. If we receive any donations please know that they are not tax deductible. We will advise all followers if that ever does change. Please continue to help us help other families though.

Kayla has had severe allergic reactions the past couple of weeks that have ended up with her in hospital for several days to a week at a time. Let's work together to take the stress of meal planning and cooking off of Chirs and Kayla's shoulders and minds.
