Remembrance doesn’t end when the candle goes out.

Yesterday, families around the world joined together for Wave of Light, honoring the babies who remain forever part of our stories.

Today, we’re grateful for the opportunity to share more about Anchored in Sacred Remembrance through local news coverage from KAMR- MyHighPlains.

This gathering was created with a simple but meaningful purpose: to provide an intentional space where mothers who have experienced miscarriage or infant loss can remember, reconnect, honor their journeys, and share meaningful connection with others who understand.

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a day when families around the world come together through the Wave of Light to honor babies gone too soon.

At 7 PM in your local time zone, we invite you to light a candle and join us in remembrance.

For the babies whose names we speak.
For the babies whose names we hold quietly.
For the mothers and families whose love continues beyond loss.

Every baby matters. Every story matters. Every mother deserves to be seen and supported.

We are honored to introduce Anchored in Sacred Remembrance: An Intimate Gathering for Mothers.

Created for mothers who have experienced miscarriage or infant loss, this gathering is an invitation to remember, reconnect, and honor the love that remains part of your story.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, your story has a place here.

Together, we will share an intentional afternoon of gentle reflection, meaningful connection, and sacred remembrance.

You do not have to leave your baby's memory behind to continue moving forward.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. 💛

This month, we honor the babies who are deeply loved and remembered, and we make space for the mothers and families whose lives were forever changed by miscarriage and infant loss.

At Anchored Life Foundation, we know that loss does not end when you leave the hospital, when the flowers stop arriving, or when everyone else returns to life as usual.

The love remains.
The memories remain.
The grief may change, but it does not follow a timeline.

Throughout October, we will be creating space for remembrance, sharing resources for support and healing, and helping those who love a grieving mother understand how to walk alongside her.

If this month is personal for you, we see you.

Grief doesn’t always announce itself.

Sometimes it shows up in a date you remember.

A photo you weren’t expecting to see.

Or a moment when you suddenly realize how different life is from what you once pictured.

There is no timeline that determines when you should be “over it.”

When you’ve experienced miscarriage or infant loss, love and grief can continue to exist side by side—and some days simply require a little more tenderness than others.

If today is one of those days, give yourself permission to honor what you’re feeling.

You don’t have to rush through it.

You don’t have to explain it.

For many parents who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, anniversaries and significant dates can bring a mixture of love, grief, gratitude, and remembrance.

Today, our founder remembers her daughter, Rozlyn Grace.

Her life continues to inspire the mission of Anchored Life Foundation: to provide compassionate care, continuity, and community for women and families navigating pregnancy and infant loss.

Today, we celebrate the life of a little girl whose legacy continues to shape everything we do.

Eleven years ago, Rozlyn Grace Watkins entered this world.

Although her life was brief, her impact has been immeasurable.

Anchored Life Foundation exists because we know firsthand that healing doesn’t end when a hospital stay is over. Mothers navigating miscarriage or infant loss need compassionate care, practical support, and a community willing to walk beside them for the long journey that follows.

Every care conversation…
Every support resource…
Every woman reminded that she is not alone…

…is part of the legacy Rozlyn left behind.

Today, we honor her life by continuing the work of bringing hope where heartbreak has lived.

Because every life matters.
Every story matters.
Every mother matters.

One of the most common misconceptions about grief is that it follows a timeline.

It doesn't.

Healing isn't measured by how much time has passed. It's measured by the courage to keep taking the next step—even when that step looks different from yesterday.

Some days you may feel strong.
Some days simply getting through the day is enough.

Both are part of the journey.

If you've ever wondered whether you're "healing the right way," here's something I hope you'll remember:

• There is no right timeline for grief.
• Progress isn't always visible.
• Small steps are still meaningful steps.
• Asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
