Rainbow Room - Community Partners of Amarillo The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room located at Child Protective Services. to children and families in crisis situations.

Community Partners of Amarillo - through the Rainbow Room - supplies diapers, formula, clothing, school supplies, cleaning supplies, cribs, toddler beds, etc. Children often enter the foster care system with nothing but the clothes they are wearing and caseworkers may be summoned during the night to rescue a child or help a family escape an abusive situation. Something as seemingly simple as a sma

ll toy or blanket can provide immense comfort to a child experiencing trauma. The Rainbow Room can provide these types of items. When a crib can be provided for a child sleeping on the floor or with a caregiver, then we can help ensure that child's safety and therefore save a child's life! Sometimes removal of children from their homes can even be prevented. We need YOUR support to help meet the needs of the abused and neglected children of this community.

What a blessing to have the High Plains of Texas and New Mexico Latter-day Saints come and tour the Rainbow room and donate beautiful blankets! They brought in 2 huge totes with 45 handmade blankets! And ya’ll there is a beautiful note hand written on each one. Some of them are in english, and some in spanish! This is truly a blessing! Our families will be so Grateul for your generous donation!
