We pray for the protection of the men and women that have laid down their lives to protect you and for every man, woman and child at home. We stand with you in these hours of wait. Thank you for showing us the beauty of grace under fire. You shine brightly and with boldness. We support you.

Dear Ukrainians,
We wait for a new day, a winter’s day to become spring, the old to come to pass and the new green grasses to come. We hope there are only a few weeks of winter remaining and the sun will break through the clouds and bring you warmth and comfort. We pray for your families, friends and communities to draw close to each other, for healing and love to come. We need love for each other on our side of the world too. We ask God to heal us all.

We look forward to seeing you soon and arriving at airports in Ukraine. The day will come when your friends and family will come together with you on Ukraine’s soil to celebrate holidays and be filled with joy, laughter and love. We will come together and share our gratitude and sorrows and lives. We will go out on a summer’s day and walk miles and listen to your hearts. We pray for your strength and health mentally and physically. We ask God to heal us all and bring peace.

We do not know the frustrations of sirens, constant missiles, what it feels like day after day to take cover during the nights, sleepless nights, ongoing stress. We cannot even begin to understand these things and especially not for the years you have endured the losses of your families and cities. We will continue to seek to find ways to support and help. We will not forget you. You have become our friends and family. We pray for you at every turn. We pray for your health!

February 24th will mark three years since the full scale invasion. This war was started in 2014 so this is the eleventh year of war in Ukraine. Every life, every day, every community counts. The Cultural Forces of Ukraine 🇺🇦 have been here in Amarillo for 24 hours now 💛💙💛💙 and we love them so very much!!!

These are talented and famous singers and performers in Ukraine. We have been blown away by their talent.

Come watch them perform tomorrow night at Amarillo Area Foundation at 6:00. You will not want to miss this.
