Today, Snack Pak 4 Kids® turns 16.

It is hard to believe that what began around a kitchen table with 10 students has become what it is today.

We did not know where this journey would lead. We simply believed every child deserved the opportunity to succeed and to be treated with dignity and respect.

Sixteen years later, we are grateful for every educator, volunteer, partner, and investor who continued to show up. Because you did, students arrived at school on Monday feeling seen, supported, and ready to learn.

“First and foremost, Alan Penn was an educator in all aspects of his life,” says Kiwanis International Executive Director Paul Palazzolo. “He believed that Kiwanis members could bridge the gap for young people and children to have bright futures, and he demonstrated this belief in many ways..”

The Kiwanis family mourns 2011-12 Kiwanis International President Alan Penn, who passed away August 5.
