September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!🎗️ At Camp Alphie, we are so honored to serve our local tiny heroes that have fought so hard in their battle with childhood cancer. Thank you to everyone who donates their money, time, and efforts throughout the year to help us give the best week to these local kids and their families. 💛

Parents Camp 2025!🪐 While the kids are enjoying their time at Ceta Canyon for kids camp, the parents get to have a blast themselves! Every year parents have the opportunity to spend the week with other parents going through the same walk as them and get to have a community with each other. Here’s a small recap of some of the fun they had during Parents Camp!🦁

Pickup day! We had our awards ceremony to celebrate our campers and graduates of this year. Thank you to the Local Wedge for donating our lunch boxes and the Canyon Cake Company for the scrumptious cookies! Thank you to our parents for trusting us with your sweet kiddos for the week. Thank you to our awesome counselors, director, nurse, and board for working together to make another year of camp memorable and a blast!

Day 5 of Camp!! The kiddos saw some cool animals from the Amarillo Mobile Zoo then enjoyed some outside time. The kiddos also enjoyed planting their own succulent and painting their pots provided by Yellow City Flowers! They got to swim again today while the graduates did the ropes course. Afterwards, D’Gala Beauty Salon helped our girls get ready for the dance along with some of our sweet parents! They had a ball of a time dancing their hearts out and enjoyed all of the delicious desserts from Delia’s Cakes!!🦁🚀🛰️

Camp Day 4! The kiddos had a STEM experiment with XCEL Energy this morning followed by an action packed game of Hungry Hippos! Circle of Friends provided a wonderful lunch today to celebrate Camp Alphie. They jumped their hearts out on the inflatables and jumping pillow. They had the opportunity to go up in the air in XCEL’s bucket trucks then had a yummy dinner from XCEL Energy. They topped their day off with horses from Range Riders!🦁🚀👽

Day 3 was a blast! The older kiddos enjoyed a beautiful hike to a waterfall while the younger kiddos had a great time fishing. They cooled off with a visit from the Randall County Fire Department! Our delicious dinner was provided by the Panhandle Angels Foundation. The kiddos then had the opportunity to take some corvettes for a spin with the Amarillo Corvette Club! They topped their evening off with some yummy sundaes from Bubbas 33! Stay tuned for another action packed day tomorrow!☄️🛸

Camp day 2 was out of this world! The kiddos got to paint this morning with our friends at Brush with Art then the Borger Police Department paid them a visit. Affiliated Foods donated our delicious lunch where we celebrated two birthdays!🥳 They had a messy, great time with the shaving cream war then got cleaned up for games with Mike Wilhelm and his crew. Their night activities included dinner made by the Jeep Exclusive club then had some awesome rides on the trails!🪐🛸

Camp Alphie 2025 has officially begun!🦁🚀Our cup is overflowing with joy from all of our awesome campers and counselors ready to have the best week! The kiddos had a blast swimming followed by a great dinner provided by Life and Liberty Outdoors. Buckle up for a great week!❤️🏕️
