Busted Crosby outta’ the hospital!!
Unfortunately, he’s stuck in that cone for the foreseeable future unless / until we can break him of the habit of messing with his boy bits.
He’s healed from the recent surgery but we’re running out of options if this doesn’t keep the p***s where it should be.

Susie (terrified hoarder house girl with heartworm disease) is FINALLY home after spending two weeks in the hospital!! (due to lab issues with her testing)

She has undergone her first heartworm treatment and will go back in a month for the second and third. ❣️

George (crushed pelvis) is recovering very well and is an absolute clown!! 🐾

(the two kids are not related and came from different rescue situations)

We couldn’t resist embellishing the little mohawks!!
😂😂😂

They were both very good sports about it! 😊

Lilah is on the move!! 🐾

We're still working hard towards our funding goals for baby Joy - but we have another PRIORITY need that we have to address.

A man reached out to me (he is the one who initially transported Lilah from her previous owners to the hospital) - and stated that he would like to fund her custom mobility cart, (already aware of the cost).

I contacted the maker of the cart and got things going... I confirmed the cost with the donor who was then to contact the maker to complete payment.

That donor, has offered zero response to any futher contact - - so here we are, with the payment obligation for Lilah's cart. (I've messaged him multiple times and posted a public request on his profile to please message me - he was showing active but failed to respond).

We're looking at about $1300 (give or take, depending on any applicable tax and shipping) that we must raise in order to get Lilah into this custom cart.

I am aware that there are several groups out there who provide mobility carts free of charge - but Lilah requires a custom front wheeled cart with form fitting chest plate which will be created based on a casting of her body.

If you would like to sponsor Lilah for her custom cart - or make a contribution towards covering it - we'd be grateful - - - please donate via the specific contribution link below which has been set up for Lilah in particular.

Thanks to everyone who has helped Joy thus far!!!

Our little mermaid (hospital staff dubbed her “Bubble Guppy) 😊 is doing very well following her major surgery!

We were blessed with a $500 quick match, which has been met (THANK YOU) - - and I have personally matched that $1000 myself - but we are still another $4K to go now (give or take) to complete her care plan.

We could not wait any longer to get Joy into surgery so I was forced to put myself on the line and cover her expenses with my personal CareCredit.

We MUST get these expenses covered before we are able to help the next kid who needs us.

On a good note, Joy did BEAUTIFULLY with this invasive quadruple surgery and she is recovering nicely! She is in good spirits, showing no signs of discomfort and is soaking up all of the extra love and attention!

We’ve got to keep pushing to cover these expenses!!

PLEASE donate if you are able!! ❣️🐾❣️

Surgery time for JOY ✨(pup on the right)

This tiny girl found herself in the city shelter in a terrible fix… seems her pelvis and hinies are severely malformed - leading to hindered mobility and complete incontinence so the shelter put out an urgent plea for emergency medical rescue. 🚨

Joy has been waiting her turn to get on the surgery books and doing her part to grow big and strong... but we cannot continue to wait - her condition has now progressed to more painful days than not and the injury risks to the limbs increase every day as she grows bigger and insists on being more mobile.

➡️ ➡️ She has already drug and bounced on her tail to the point that the lack of circulation (to the limbs and tail) has caused part of the tail to literally just FALL OFF!!

We’ve had a lot of criticals lately and continue to depend on your ongoing support. 🐾

💸 Please donate here:
https://www.friendsofemmamedicalrescue.org/

Friends Of Emma Medical Rescue exists solely on the hearts and wallets of our public… we are not funded by grants or corporate support… we have no “staff”, “team”, “facility” or circle of hands-on volunteers / fosters…. we’re just a couple of folks tryin’ to make a tiny difference where we can - with YOUR help. 💕

If you are in the position to help us fund Joy's life changing surgery - please do so right away to aid with her ongoing and mounting expenses.

It is imperative that we move forward with this surgical intervention IMMEDIATELY.

➡️ ➡️ Joy requires a bilateral rear limb and tail amputation due to extreme malformations.

YAY!! My precious little love bug, sweet Tess - has been ADOPTED!! 🐾
She has a new name, Aubrey - a new family - AND she gets to stay with her sister Phoebe (AKA Julie) forever!!! 🥳
Mom and Dad decided, “what’s one more?” 😂 so while Phoebe will be going home on Friday, Aubrey still has some vetting to get completed and then she’ll be heading home to SC to reunite with her sister and meet the whole family!! ✨💕✨

Ugh - whatta’ day already!!

So Crosby was one of the five kids admitted to the hospital last week for procedures and he was to undergo a surgery to address his condition of Paraphimosis (where the p***s cannot be retracted).

Well, that surgery was successful - until…. it wasn’t. 😩😩😩

He sabotaged his own recovery by getting through EVERY surgical site barrier we used (from cone to wraps to pull-up’s w/ suspenders) and got the site completely open w/ the p***s stuck out again (and constricted, making it an emergency situation). 🏥

So off to the hospital first thing, where he’ll undergo yet another repair today (that there is HOPEFULLY enough tissue for) and he’ll remain hospitalized so that he can be kept sedated if necessary, to heal without further complications.

He could be there up to two weeks 💲😩💲so if you’d like to help out with his stay, we’d sure welcome any contributions via our website linked below or through the Facebook donation button.

💸 Please donate here:

Many thanks and much love, as always 💜🐾💜
