Friends Of Emma Medical Rescue & Transport
A major medical / critical care canine rescue home and transport service provider.
501(c)(3) Public Charity
DLN:26053586004298 EIN:83-1090428 We are a private rescue home providing for major medical, critical care and hospice animals who come to us from all across the USA (and some international intakes as well!)
Our animals come to us from shelters, veterinary clinics (and referrals), other rescues, breeders and private individuals. We work with some of the most critical and rare cases - providing emergent and ongoing medical care and treatment, rehabilitation and recovery - prior to the ultimate goal of permanent placement through approved adoptions. We work with major medical cases of various types and severity - from pups born with cleft palate deformities, missing limbs, rare genetic anomalies, congenital defects and disease such as heart abnormalities, hydrocephalus, neurological disorders, etc. - - to animals suffering from acute injury caused by accidents or abuse.
