Three siblings. Three placement packages. One reminder: no child should enter foster care without knowing they are loved. ❤️

These three placement packages were recently prepared for siblings entering care. Each suitcase is filled with essentials, comfort items, and a few special gifts to remind them they matter from day one.

Here we are sewing military blankets for the veterans Hospice Unit. We are now reaching out with heartfelt request for support. Our organization, Blankets of Love of Amarillo (a registered 501c3, has been given the honor of creating 89 military blankets for veterans at the VA Nursing Home. These blankets are more than just warmth, they are a symbol of gratitude, comfort and recognition for those who served our country. We have provided 37 double fleece blankets for the VA Hospice Unit and received heartfelt testimonies. However, we’ve run into a challenge. The military theme fabric we need is licensed, which makes it significantly more expensive than standard materials. To complete this mission we need the help from the community. Every Dollar, every share, every bit of support makes a difference. Let us come together and show these heroes they are not forgotten. If you wish to contribute whether through monetary donation , fabrics or sharing this post, you would be directly helping us wrap 89 veterans in appreciation and love.
