Healing does not have an expiration date.

At nearly 96 years old, activist Dolores Huerta reminds us that it is never too late to speak your truth. For decades, she carried her story in silence to protect a movement she helped build. Today, her courage to share it is opening doors for others to begin their own healing journeys.

There is no timeline for healing. No deadline for finding your voice. No moment where it becomes “too late.”

Your story matters, whether you tell it today or years from now.

Our agency is here for moments like this. If you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence, you are not alone. Reach out to us for support.

SPRING CLEANING = ANOTHER CHANCE 🌱

If you’re doing a little spring cleaning, we can put a lot of it to work right here on campus.

We’re currently accepting in-kind donations of:
• Furniture: couches, recliners, dressers, tables, end tables (no glass-top tables)
• Countertop appliances
• Easy-to-grow bulbs for spring planting

We cannot accept mattresses.

Want to donate? Message us here or call 806-372-3344 and we’ll coordinate drop-off or pick up with enough notice.

Thank you for helping make this place feel like home, one man at a time.

Thank you to all the Volunteers in Borger, TX, and especially at Meals on Wheels Senior Center Borger, for delivering the Hygiene Bags, made with care by your fellow Volunteers at RSVP/Panhandle Community Services, serving the entire Texas Panhandle.

💙 Grateful Beyond Words 💙

We have been incredibly blessed by the generosity of our community! A huge thank you to Borger Intermediate School and Borger Middle School for their thoughtful donations of comfortable socks and a variety of activity books, including crossword puzzles and other engaging activities. These items bring comfort, joy, and something extra special to brighten the days of our homebound seniors.

We would also like to thank RSVP of Texas Panhandle, sponsored by Panhandle Community Service (PCS) for their generous donation of hygiene bags for our Meals on Wheels clients. These bags are such a blessing and help meet important everyday needs for our seniors.

And a very special shout-out to Deborah and her sweet boys, who volunteer with us once a week. They are incredible, and we are so thankful for their time, their hearts, and their dedication to serving our seniors.

To everyone who donates and volunteers — we truly could not do this without you. Thank you for supporting our mission and for loving our seniors so well. 💙

🧠 What is Brain Health?
Brain health is how well your brain functions in areas like thinking, movement, emotions, and senses.

Cognitive health—your ability to think, learn, and remember—is a key part. While we can’t control genetics, many lifestyle and environmental factors can be managed.

✅ Small daily habits like staying active, eating well, and staying mentally engaged can help protect your brain now and in the future.
