Congratulations, Emily Stowers, 5th-grade reading-language arts at Western Plateau Elementary. In Mrs. Stowers’ classroom, reading is not just a subject; it’s an experience that invites students to step into new worlds and see themselves within them. She brings 15 years of education experience along with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her background in both classroom teaching and instructional leadership allows her to design lessons that are both engaging and effective. Principal Dusti Shipman highlights Mrs. Stowers commitment to addressing learning gaps while maintaining high expectations for every learner.

A "tattoo the teacher" fundraiser is a fun, viral idea where students pay a few dollars to cover willing teachers in temporary tattoos. We round up tips and supplies you'll need for a tattoo the teacher fundraiser, along with a free flyer and social media graphic.

Winter Carnival is THIS Thursday! If you want a pizza meal (2 slices & a drink) you must order online by Wednesday at 2pm. We will sell wristbands at the door (cash only!!) but we will not be selling the pizza meals at the door. Order at www.westernplateaupto.com
