Everyone needs to be very careful what you post either on your social media or a page on social media. Investigations have been issued for posts people have made about the carrier on social media. Remember the carrier is not a friend to the members.

The carrier did not zero out the early and late dates.

1/16/2024 The Absence policy is changes. The carrier will zero out Absences, the leave early and clock in late. Sick days will not count as an Absence. Early late days will go to 5 days with a 4 step process instead of 5. Absence days go to 3 days with a 3 step process. I will post the letter tomorrow once I get it.

Highlights:
18 % raise over 5 years.

We will be getting our vacations 2 years earlier. Dental coverage went up to 2500. Vision glasses or contact lenses went up to 250 every 2 years instead of 125

Also we got a 4 1/2% this past July and we will get a 4% in July of next year. That is 8% in a year.

A single person can opt for single insurance but the deductible and out of pocket is more.

During our class to we got informed that TCU is going to be pushing for in the contract 1. Wage increase 2. Health care 3. Contract now. President Maratea stated that he has talked to the CEO of the Class 1 railroads and they agree that they want the agreement done quickly.

I know some have see this. I can tell you that the MCO's have said it is not true. I can tell you that labor relations has reached out and said it is not true. I can tell that this evening BNSF has put on the home page that it is not true. So all I can say is that it is not true.
