We originally planned to include Melissa’s interview alongside bonus footage from Kaison’s lesson and behind-the-scenes moments… but after hearing her story, we knew it deserved a video of its own. 🤍

We are so excited to start a new series highlighting one of our awesome clients each month. Who better than Kaison? We are so excited to share his amazing story with y’all. 💙🐗

A message from the family:

“Kaison sustained a traumatic brain injury on March 5th, 2024. Our family was told his injuries were not survivable. After surgery, we were told he would remain on machines and be completely paralyzed on his left side.

But our family stood firmly on faith and the Lord’s promises that Kaison would be restored.

Over the last two years, God has opened so many doors for our family and blessed us with incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses, therapists, and people who have truly become family. Kaison was even blessed by an amazing dog trainer who turned his puppy into a top-notch service dog.

7 Star Equine Therapy has been a BIG part of this journey. The love, compassion, and support poured into our son has meant more to our family than words can express.

God gets the glory for Kaison’s progress, but He uses people to be His hands and feet on earth.” 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of “Mom” in the 7 Star family and all the amazing Moms in this world . 🤍

To the moms raising babies, the women who stepped into a motherly role, the animal moms, the grandmas, foster moms, and the ones who show up with love every single day — today is for you.

Thank you for the care, patience, strength, and compassion you pour into others, whether it’s your family, your community, or even the horses who call 7 Star home.

We are so grateful for the women who help make this place feel safe, loved, and full of heart. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at 7 Star! 🌟🐴

Meet Bear our first Horse of the Month🐻🤎

Our 19-year-old Quarter Horse with the biggest heart and the best hugs. Standing at 15 hands tall, Bear has been part of our program for about 2 years after being generously donated by one of our volunteers — and since then, he’s become loved by absolutely everyone he meets.

Bear works with both children and adults in our therapeutic riding and equine-assisted therapy programs, and he has a special way of connecting with people that’s hard to explain unless you’ve met him. Whether it’s a quiet moment in the arena or one of his famous “unsolicited hugs,” Bear always seems to know exactly how to make someone smile.

He’s goofy, lovable, obsessed with playing in water, and if our marketer is trying to photograph another horse… there’s a very good chance Bear will find his way into the picture instead. 😂 One thing we recently discovered? Bear LOVES beards. At the co****le tournament, he was obsessed with our friend Bob’s beard and kept rubbing on it like it was giving him the best tickles ever. We swear he looked like he was laughing. 🐴🤎

To know Bear is to love Bear, and we are so thankful for the comfort, joy, and horse hugs he brings to so many people every single day. 🤎🐴

What an incredible day for the 7 Star Horse Therapy fundraiser & co****le tournament! From the competition, to the laughs, to everyone coming together for an amazing cause — we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. 🐴🖤🌟

This round of photos also features some of our very own Texas Pete’s Barbecue serving up amazing food and helping keep everyone fueled at the end of the day 🔥🍖
