I just wanted to take a moment to send a big THANK YOU to our entire AYSO 1103 Soccer Community, Jeff & his team with the City of Williamsburg, Iowa, Grant & team with City of Tiffin, Iowa along with the Clear Creek Amana Community School District & Williamsburg Activities Department for all of the help, patience and communication during this extremely rainy ⛈️ September!

Many calls, texts, emails & last minute schedule changes were done between all of us to allow the kids to practice & play these last several weeks.

Also a big shoutout to Marissa Bral Photography for her flexibility & patience with getting our Tiffin Fall photos 📸in on Saturday after all of the Fall weather hiccups!

We had indoor practices, muddy practices, rainy practices and many cancelled practices—but it sure was a beautiful ☀️day on Saturday seeing all of the kids out on the fields! ⚽️ 🥅

Please remember to thank all of the volunteers, coaches & crews that make this possible for our kids. It is a bigger job than most of us realize and every “Thank you” & helping hand is appreciated more than you know!

Oh-and also can’t forget to thank the 3 soccer dads who pushed me out of the mud on Saturday! 🤣 (added for your entertainment)

Gratefully-
Emily Aanrud

AYSO 1103 Soccer families—due to the amount of rain that we have gotten over the course of the last week, we have made the decision to cancel today’s games in both Williamsburg and Tiffin.

The fields were already a bit wet & muddy and the rain we received earlier this morning and currently will just worsen the playing conditions.

Be on the lookout for picture rescheduling and we will plan to use our weather makeup date at the end of the season on 10/24.

It’s a beautiful morning for Week 1 of Fall Soccer ⚽️ AYSO 1103 Soccer

This summer, our region has added ✨NEW✨ referees to our ref crew!!

🤩 Region 1103 now has 11 new 10/12U referees and A.R.s. as well as 5 new 8U referees!

That’s 16 referees trained in the last 3 months👏

Special thanks to Chip Walaska our Regional Ref Trainer for sharing your knowledge, skills & time to help our region develop a stronger ref team ⚽️ 💪🏼

If you are looking for a way to get involved & support AYSO, please consider refereeing!

Or maybe you have a high schooler looking for silver cord hours or a way to make some extra 💰?

Refereeing for AYSO 1103 Soccer may be a perfect fit!!

We are a volunteer run organization & rely on the support of parent & community volunteers to keep our program running smoothly!

If this sounds like a good fit for you, or someone you know, please reach out to [email protected]
