Consideration for the Recall Election.
As you prepare to vote in the recall election for Chris Juilfs, it is important to review his contributions during his tenure as chairman. Chris was asked to lead the board several years ago, and since then, significant progress has been made under his guidance.
The Village of Alvo bills are now being paid promptly, and there is actually money in the bank. Loans are nearly paid off, which is a notable improvement from the previous administration. Just a few years ago, under the last chairman, the bank was on the verge of calling in the notes because of missed payments.
The Village now maintains active insurance coverage. In the past, insurance had been cancelled due to non-payment, and neither the board nor the citizens were informed by the then-chairman.
Fletcher is now in great condition for travel. The improvements made have likely impacted the resistance living along Fletcher.
Please keep this in mind when you go to vote.

Gary Estes and Larry langer for Village of Alvo Board of Trustees

“It is not fair to ask of others what you are not willing to do yourself.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

There seems to be a clear inconsistency in Robin LaPage’s actions. In 2007, she personally filed a recall petition. However, when she faced a recall in 2022, she claimed she didn’t know she was required to hold the recall vote. It’s curious how the laws and rules appear to apply only to those who oppose Robin.

Vote yes for Larry Langer and Gary Estes for the Village of Alvo Board of Trustees. As stated before and agreed upon by the Cass County Attorney, Cass County Judge, Attorney Generals office, and the Cass County Election Office Gary Estes and Larry Langer are longtime residents of Alvo.

Larry and Gary are members of the community who talk the talk and they also walk the walk. Larry and Gary are also individuals who believe that everyone deserves to be treated as they treat others. Larry and Gary also are not individuals who jump to conclusions without evidence or cause.

Stand with Larry Langer and Gary Estes against the corruption brought on by Robin LaPage, Mike Lancot, and Nathan Jordan.

Well, since it was brought up, lets dig in.

Just another reason to not vote for Robin LaPage, Mike Lancot, or Nathan Jordan.

The May 29, 2019, Auditor of Public Accounts report stated the Village of Alvo was in possession of a T.I.N. not belonging to the Village. Exhibit A is a the private T.I.N. account 47-0689378 listed under the Village AND NOT belonging to the Village.

This account was the Alvo Fire and Alvo Rescue trust account.

Now let's see Nebraska State Statue 35-901

"each volunteer department may establish a volunteer department trust fund. All general donations or contributions, bequests, or annuities made to the volunteer department and all money raised by or for the volunteer department shall be deposited in the trust fund. The trust fund shall be under the control of the volunteer department, and the volunteer department may make expenditures from the trust fund as it deems necessary. The treasurer of the volunteer department shall be the custodian of the trust fund."

"The trust fund shall not be considered public funds or funds of any city, village, county, township, or rural or suburban fire protection district for any purpose, including the Nebraska Budget Act, nor shall any city, village, county, township, or rural or suburban fire protection district incur any liability solely by reason of any expenditure from such fund except liability for property when any city, village, county, township, or rural or suburban fire protection district receives title to property acquired with money from such fund."

The May 29, 2019, Auditor of Public Accounts report stated "Due to the fragmentary and incomplete nature of the Village financial records provided to the APA, the legal status, along with the attendant responsibilities, of the Department remains unclear."

Well as we can all see in the already provided supporting evidence; Cass County Judge agrees Robin LaPage was and is WRONG.

Larry Langer and Gary Estes have been a part of the Board of Trustees that have actually taken the time to improve and ensure the complete nature of the Village of Alvos financial records as well as the Village of Alvos Volunteer Fire Departments is provided.
