September Alvin FFA Newsletter is Here!

September is already off to a busy start for Alvin FFA! As we head into a month full of opportunities, events, and chapter activities, we want to make sure our FFA families have all the information they need.

Take a few minutes to read through this month’s newsletter for important dates, reminders, upcoming events, opportunities for students, and ways to stay involved in Alvin FFA.

Who is ready to kick off a great year with Alvin FFA?

FFA Member Meeting tonight at 6:00 PM
FFA Parents Alumni Meeting at 6:30 PM

FFA membership forms will be available and we are now accepting 2026-2027 FFA dues, they are $45, cover your dues and include a tshirt. (T-shirts are coming soon)

Big thank you to our Alumni Organization for helping make this meeting happen! They rented the slides, covered the pizza, and our lemonade bar!

Can’t wait to see everyone tonight.

Alvin FFA Sentinel Officer Interest Form
2026–2027 Chapter Officer Team
An opening is available on the Alvin FFA Chapter Officer Team for the position of Sentinel.

If you are interested in serving your chapter as an officer and believe you have the leadership skills, responsibility, and dedication necessary for the position, we encourage you to apply! You must be a current 10th-12th grader.

The selection process will be similar to our original Chapter Officer Election Process and will include:

Written Officer Test

Involvement/Application

Officer Candidate Interview

Popular Vote by Alvin FFA Members

Candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to participate in the officer selection process.

If you are interested in running for Sentinel, please complete the interest form by the deadline of Thursday August 27th at 4:00 PM. We will send an email with next steps on Friday, August 28th.

Our officers planned and executed a “Lead the Way” workshop for all Ag classes today and it was great. They discussed the myths and stereotypes of what an FFA member is and all the opportunities FFA can offer!

They led with premier leadership!!
