This weekend, we gathered for the Angel Behind Home Plate Tournament in honor of someone who meant so much to all of us at AGSA, Michael 'Mike' Lopez. Mike was so much more than an umpire. He was a coach, a leader, a board member, and, most important, a longtime friend to so many of us. We know he's smiling down from heaven, watching every pitch, every hit, and every great play, cheering these girls on from the best seat in the house. Mike, thank you for everything you gave to AGSA, to our athletes, and to all of us lucky enough to call you a friend. Thank you to all the teams that came out to play, you all are helping us keep his memory alive and helping us give back to our softball community in his name via Scholarship!
Congrats as well to all the championship winners and finalists. Your hard work and dedication really showed this weekend!
