Alvin Blue Santa is a local nonprofit that helps make Christmas special for kids in the Alvin community who might otherwise go without. The program was started in 1998 by officers with the Alvin Police Department's Bike Patrol Unit, who raised money to buy bikes for local children while building friendly relationships between families and police. These days, the group provides Christmas for around 200 students every year through a toy drive for younger kids and a shopping experience for teens, where each student is paired with a volunteer, often a police officer or coach, and gets to pick out their own gifts. Kids are nominated by their school counselors and teachers, and the whole organization runs on donations from generous neighbors and local businesses who want to make sure no child in Alvin misses out on a merry Christmas.

This year, Adwebvertising had the honor of giving back to Alvin Blue Santa by treating their website to a complete facelift and setting up a brand new Google Business Profile for the organization. We're proud to support the incredible work they do for local kids.
